Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Chatham, Massachusetts is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns work closely alongside the Superintendent in all aspects of turf maintenance. This position requires a professionally driven individual who operates with the highest expectations and efficiencies. Strong organizational skills are preferred. The correct candidate will work with seasoned crew through projects, applications, and daily operations. Individual understands the requirements and demands of turf improvement at a world class private facility. We are seeking individuals that understand what it takes to be the best.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing small crews.
• Irrigation repair and troubleshooting.
• Spraying fairways and greens.
• Water management/Hand watering.
• Fertilizer applications/calibrations.
• Crew organization.
• Aerification.
• Small projects.
• Assist the equipment technician with repairs and maintenance.
• Operating tractors and loaders.
• Course set-up.
• Walk mow greens.
• Walk mow tees and collar.

Requirements:
Enrollment in a Turfgrass Program with desire to become a Golf Course Superintendent.

Compensation:
$19 per hour.
Free onsite housing.
