Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Powell, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This position presents an excellent opportunity for a young graduate of a turfgrass program to lead a staff and grow within a professional turfgrass program. The position will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to facilitate the operation and to present the golf course as it was intended to be played and in a tournament-ready manner. They will manage, delegate, train, direct and support the team to maintain the golf course at the highest quality possible at all times.

Duties will entail:
• Chemical/fertilizer applications and accurate record keeping.
• Irrigation maintenance, troubleshooting and programming.
• Assist the Golf Course Superintendent with labor tracking and labor efficiency.
• Aid in the hiring process and staff development mentorship.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 2-4 year degree in Turfgrass Science or related field.
The qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of golf course experience including management of staff and chemical and fertilizer applications.
More importantly they must carry themselves in a professional and positive manner at all times and demonstrate a sense of pride and embrace a team-oriented culture.
Must have an Ohio Pesticide License or the ability to obtain one immediately.

Compensation:
$50,000 – $55,000 per year.
Room for increased compensation first year based on performance.
