Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
Reports to the Director of Golf Courses and works alongside the turf management team to provide championship conditions on both courses daily. The position will assist in fertilization and chemical applications, water management, irrigation repair, participate in daily maintenance practices, and become familiar with John Deere GPS sprayers, SubAir systems, and the Rainbird Irrigation system. The position will have the opportunity for advancement within the management team.

Requirements:
A 2- or 4-year degree in Turf Management is preferred, but not required.
Minimum 2 years of golf course maintenance experience.
Must have, or be able to obtain, a NYS pesticide applicators license.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced team environment, and with the understanding of the commitment it takes to maintain two top 100 golf courses daily.

Compensation:
$18 per hour.
