Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Spotsylvania, Virginia is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The primary focus of this position will be to gain the experience necessary to advance in the industry by working closely with the Superintendent and Director of Grounds. The position will help plan and assist in implementing all work on the golf course and club grounds.

Requirements:
We prefer some form of college or technical school work in turf, horticulture, agronomy, or plant science.
It is not required as experience will be considered also.
We prefer multiple years or seasons on a golf course, but will consider other similar work.
An upward trend with good references is required. We want someone who is driven to improve and move up.
Verbal and written communication skills are a must.
We prefer someone who plays golf and likes the game.
Computer literate and comfortable with learning irrigation software, chemical and fertilizer planning software, staffing software, etc.

Compensation:
$60,000 per year.
