Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Woodstock, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The selected candidate will work closely with the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, Merchandise Manager, as well as two other Assistant Golf Professionals; to ensure the highest level of service to the membership and their guests. This candidate will learn the entirety of golf operations working alongside an experienced team of PGA Professionals.

Major Responsibilites:
• Provide exemplary service to both members and guests of the club. Have a service-minded attitude.
• Serve as an ambassador of the club by tirelessly promoting, serving and representing the club and understanding the importance of both the golf operation and the club as a whole.
• Maintain an active role in the merchandise operation, working closely with the Merchandise Manager.
• Assist the Head Professional and Lead Assistant in the implementation of all golf operation policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level playing ability
• Work closely with the Outside Service Leader; monitoring and maintaining the required pace of play and managing the practice areas.
• Assist in managing the Crabapple “youth based caddie program”.

Requirements:
PGA member or associate.
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
Experience in a high-end, private country club setting preferred.
Competitive golf background.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel, technologically savvy.
Strong work ethic and detail-oriented.
Present a professional image and appearance at all times.
Exceptional communicator, both verbal and written.
Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally, with aspirations to become a Head Professional.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
