Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Midlothian, Illinois is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The position is responsible for supporting the successful operation of the golf course maintenance department. The position works closely with the Golf Course Superintendent on capital improvement expansion projects, as well as interaction with the crew, foreman, and equipment manager.

Duties:
• Provides agronomic direction to the crew to maintain the golf course at the highest quality possible at all times.
• Execute chemical/fertilizer applications and keeping accurate application records.
• Irrigation maintenance and programming.
• Assist the superintendent with operation and labor management.
• Responsible for assisting with hiring, training, and staff development.

Requirements:
2 or 4-year agronomy certificate/degree.
Possess or have the ability to obtain an Illinois pesticide applicator license within 90 days.
2-5 years of golf course maintenance management required.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $85,000 per year.
Annual and holiday bonuses.
