Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Simpsonville, South Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
• Works closely with Senior Assistant and Director of Agronomy
• Leader by example
• High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
• Pesticide and Fertilizer Applications
• Irrigation and drainage knowledge
• Assist in daily scheduling of a staff of 20+
• Multitask while managing the crew promptly
• Daily record keeping of pesticide and fertilizer application
• Maintain and inspect golf course grounds, clubhouse grounds, landscaping, and maintenance equipment as assigned
• Must be able to work weekends and Holidays as necessary
• Strong leadership skills
• Individual must have the ability to train and oversee employees
• Possess the ability to adapt to change
• Obtain a South Carolina Certified Pesticide Operator’s license within 60 days of employment
• Basic use of Word documents

Requirements
• 2 or 4 year degree in Turfgrass Management or related field
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in golf course agronomy preferred
