Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Essex, Vermont is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The position will report to the General Manager and manage golf shop operations and all related activities and services. This position will be instrumental in reinforcing the club’s positive culture while proactively generating new business opportunities through instruction and player development programs, tournaments, golfing experiences, and community outreach and involvement.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assisting the General Manager with managing and overseeing all elements of the club’s golf-related activities, ensuring an exceptional overall golf experience for members and guests.
• Developing and coordinating a strong junior golf program.
• Providing golf lessons and clinics.
• Soliciting, organizing, and conducting tournaments and group outings.
• Managing and monitoring golf operations’ budgets.
• Assisting in the creation and publishing of promotional literature, including golf packages.
• Organizing, monitoring, and maintaining adequate Golf Shop inventories, including arranging merchandise displays.
• Operating within and applying the policies and standards of the club.
• Participate in interviewing, training, supervising, and scheduling staff members.
• Hands-on and willing to take on other tasks as required.

Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years of golf operations management experience as Assistant Golf Professional.
Proficient in use of computers, golf-related software and social media
Demonstrated success in marketing golf events.
Passion to achieve positive club culture.
Persuasive communicator capable of interacting positively in any situation.
Skilled- problem solver and team player.
Well organized and able to work under pressure.
Sense of humor is a must.
College degree preferred.

Compensation:
$55,000.00 – $62,500.00 per year.
