Golf Shop Assistant
Golf course in Pebble Beach, California is looking for a Golf Shop Assistant.

Position Overview:
Provide the best possible customer service to golfing guests by assisting the golf management team in all areas of the operation. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and respect of all guests and co-workers alike. They will also provide support for the Golf Academy team and golf operations as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Directly involved with the daily golf operations with concentration on guest check-in, tee time management and booking golf reservations.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure guest satisfaction while promoting the game of golf and Pebble Beach Company.
• Opening and closing procedures.
• Collection of all golf fees.
• Assist in the coordination of golf activities with other departments, especially the Golf Academy.
• Remain current with teaching trends and other golf technology that may add value to the operation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Assist in the sales and inventory of all retail and F&B items.

Requirements:
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations and tournament operations. 
Experience with point of sale systems and cash handling practices. 
Team player, friendly and willing to work hard. Attention to detail.
Able to work independently. 
Service and customer focused attitude.
Task-oriented. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills. 
Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the local community.
Golf background preferred.

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour.
