Golf Coach
School in Hillsborough, California is looking for a Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Responsible for coaching student-athlete/team strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition and to help them develop an appreciation of sports participation.

Responsibilities include:
• Coach and instruct players, individually or in groups, regarding the sport’s rules, regulations, equipment, techniques, and tactics.
• Observe players during practice and competition to determine individual or team improvement needs.
• Determine game strategy based on the individual and team’s capabilities.
• Establish and maintain high standards of behavior and supervise athletes at all times.
• Follow established procedures in the event of an athlete’s injury.
• Observe school, league, state, regional, and national athletic program regulations.
• Model positive behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players, parents, officials, and spectators – practice good sportsmanship.
• Employ nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
• Assign duties to assistant coach(es) as necessary.

Requirements:
Some experience as a head or assistant golf coach is preferred; however, playing experience at the high school, college, semi-professional, or professional level would suffice.
Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
Must know the sport’s rules, regulations, techniques, and strategies.
Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and student-athletes.

Compensation:
$24.00 – $57.00 per hour.
