Golf Shop Assistant
Golf Course in Lynn Haven, Florida is looking for a Golf Shop Assistant.

Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the position adheres to policy and procedures. Ensures customers are properly greeted and provide excellent customer service while promoting Nature Walk products and services. Communicate with clubhouse staff about activities scheduled for the day, organizes carts and regulates pace of play, maintains the driving range, and secures the golf club at closing.

Duties:
• Provides customer service and sales of golf shop products and golfing fees in person.
• Operates and enters data into POS system accurately, including customer data, tee times, cart agreements, and sales of products, snacks, beverages, and alcohol.
• Processes end-of-shift closing into POS system and prepares deposit.
• Adheres to dress code: collared shirt, slacks or nice jeans, no open-toed shoes. Shorts and skorts are permitted. No ripped or tattered apparel.
• Monitors and maintains proper levels of inventory and assists management in ordering merchandise and office supplies.
• Cleans interior and exterior of clubhouse area as needed.
• Maintains driving range.
• Operates the range picker and uses shag bag to collect range balls, washes balls, and reloads the dispenser.
• Cleans, maintains, and returns golf carts and/or pull carts to staging area or maintenance building.
• Ensures pull carts are inside clubhouse before closing.
• Identifies carts with mechanical issues and parks them in maintenance area with a note for the mechanic.
• Locks and secures motorized carts in maintenance building, and locks gates and outside restrooms.
• Patrols course driving against the play to regulate cart etiquette, policies, and pace of play.

Requirements:
Experience with golf tournaments to include set up, scoring, and terminology highly preferred.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays from 8 AM – 6 PM (golf course is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).
Comprehends and accurately performs complex POS system functions.
Works under multiple time constraints.
Operates office machinery as well as golf carts and range ball picker.
Demonstrates good communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be 18 years of age (to sell alcohol).

Compensation:
$15.00 per hour.
