Golf course in Pepper Pike, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Duties:

• Capable of working in all-weather work environments, lifting a minimum of 25 pounds, and performing consistent walking, twisting, and bending.

Requirements:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in turfgrass management or related field.
3 or more years of progressive golf course maintenance experience.
Demonstrated strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Embraces daily use of technology and the ability to evolve with modern practices.
Upbeat and competitive attitude with the desire to be the best.

Technical skills in golf course maintenance, including:
Plant protectant applications.
Irrigation systems.
Equipment operation and maintenance.
Soil science.
Water management.

Leadership skills, including:
Team management.
Project experience.
Departmental and inter-departmental communication.
Scheduling and workflow management.
Member relations.

Compensation:
$55,000 – $61,000 per year.
