Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Rowlett, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting the superintendent in planning, managing and implementing maintenance and agronomic practices to ensure optimal playing conditions. The assistant reports directly to the golf course superintendent and general manager.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the golf course in proper playing condition according to company standards.
• Ability and confidence to communicate challenges/issues quickly and accurately with the superintendent.
• Supervising and directing the work of maintenance staff.
• Create and support a high-performance team while maintaining a positive, safe, and enjoyable work environment.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct monthly safety meeting/training with maintenance staff.

Requirements:
1-3 years as an assistant superintendent / assistant in training.
Degree or certificate in turfgrass management preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Highly motivated individual with attention to detail.
Rainbird irrigation experience.
Strong communication skills.
Computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook or ability to learn.
Spanish speaking a plus.

Compensation:
$45,000 – $55,000 per year.
Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
PTO.
