Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in West Covina, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional lead the Professional Staff and Outside Golf Operations in providing a first-class golf experience for our members and their guests.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Welcome all members and guests in the golf shop and around the club; anticipate and assist in their daily needs.
• Assist Head Professional in overseeing the entire golf staff.
• Understand club policies and procedures
• Assist and lead the training of all golf operations staff
• Organize and conduct tournaments
• Assist with Outside Operations as needed
• Perform starter and Marshall duties as needed
• Give lessons – private, group and events
• Ensure proper receiving of merchandise.
• Manage the day-to-day golf operation both inside and outside.
• Serve as a role model for all golf staff members.

Requirements:
1-2 years of experience preferred.
Willingness to put the member experience first.
Computer and P.O.S. experience.
General knowledge of equipment and merchandise.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to teach all levels of players.
Golf Genius knowledge preferred.
Experience in club repair.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
