Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in La Grange, Kentucky is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Basic knowledge of daily golf course operations, USGA rules, handicap, mechanics and techniques of golf swing, and general game of golf.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all members and their guests.
• Assume management responsibility in the Golf Shop during the peak periods ensuring service standards are maintained.
• Management of outside operations staff. Help mentor and train staff on service standards. Scheduling the staff.
• Opening & closing of the Golf Shop as necessary.
• Assist with receiving, ordering, and displaying of merchandise.
• Promote golf by teaching and conducting player development programs.
• Assist in the development of promotional materials to communicate the programs to the members and guests as needed.
• Administer Junior Camps & Ladies Get Golf Ready Clinics.
• Head of Junior Golf Program.
• Practice golf game and play with members and guests as necessary.
• Stay up to date on latest club technology, fitting equipment, and teaching methods/technologies.

Requirements:
Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Positive attitude.
Excellent customer service skills with a high level of professionalism.
Team player.
Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices.
PGA member or working towards PGA membership preferred.

Compensation:
$36,500.00 – $40,000.00 per year.
