Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in West Des Moines, Iowa is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will collaborate with our professional staff to manage day-to-day operations and engage proactively with members and guests.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Golf Operations Management: Oversee daily golf shop activities, including opening and closing procedures and maintaining inventory and merchandising displays.
• Program Development: Assist with organizing and managing tournaments, clinics, and junior golf programs to boost participation and member involvement.
• Member Interaction: Foster positive relationships with members; provide tours and lessons that promote our values and enhance the golf experience.
• Facility Support: Maintain high standards for practice facilities and coordinate with outside services to ensure a premium golfing environment.

Requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of golf operations, rules, and fundamentals.
Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop strong member relations and demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times.
Self-motivated with a commitment to personal growth and golf education.
Active PGA membership status or working towards membership is preferred.

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour.
