Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Amarillo, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Assist the Superintendent in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily maintenance activities to ensure the golf course is maintained to the highest standards. The position will fulfill these responsibilities with a hands-on approach, that focuses on strengthening the team culture through positive and effective leadership.

Requirements:
2 or 4 year degree in Turf Grass Management.
2-4 years of experience in Turf Maintenance.
Ability to obtain Texas Pesticide Applicator License within 90 days of hire.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience with irrigation system repair and water management.
Knowledge of cool season turfgrass management practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Passion for golf and understanding of the game.

Compensation:
$70,000 – $72,000 per year.
