Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Nixa, Missouri is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail management, inventory management, and personnel management.

Duties:
• Manages the Pro Shop including inventory control, merchandising, and product selection.
• Works with members and guests; assists them with their golfing needs; handles their requests, complaints and inquiries with composure and in a timely professional manner.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround time, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.
• Manages the Pro Shop, including inventory control, merchandising, and product selection.
• Manages the cash flow of the Pro Shop, ensuring that cash and credit card charges balance with sales receipts in accordance with operating procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors to source golf equipment, apparel, and accessories at reasonable prices.
• Stocks, tags and displays merchandise on Pro Shop floor ensuring all merchandise is neatly arranged.
• Ensures Pro Shop is appropriately stocked, clean, safe, and tidy.
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise pro shop personnel including assistant golf professionals, pro shop attendants, and golf cart attendants. Directs the daily operations of the pro shop ensuring accurate records. Maintains the accounting for the Pro Shop.
• Attends and actively participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service-and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.
• Participates in budgeting process for the Pro Shop and strives to achieve sales targets.
• Assists with tournament preparation when needed.

Requirements:
Has knowledge of the organization and retail management.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate diverse groups effectively.
Able to provide a high level of customer service with attention to detail.
Proficient with common MS Office computer programs and experience with POS systems.

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour.
