Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in St Joseph, Missouri is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The position is a hands-on management position working with the Keeper of the Greens in all aspects of the operation. The Superintendent will assign, participate, supervise, and follow up on the daily maintenance of the golf course, practice facility, clubhouse landscapes. He/she will develop knowledge and skills in staffing, renovation, irrigation, budgeting etc. while becoming a well-prepared leader to take the next step in their career. We strive to provide a great work/life balance with a scheduled work week of 40-45 hours.

Requirements:
Preferred is either a two or four-year degree/certificate in a turf-related field.
Previous work experience as an Assistant Golf Course or Head Superintendent is preferred.
Ability to perform any task needed to meet course standards.
Highly motivated with strong work ethic and a positive can-do spirit.
Attention to detail, ability to lead, identify and assign or complete tasks.
Good oral and written communication skills with members and staff.
Must be able to multitask while adapting and changing to weather, staffing or seasonal needs.

Compensation:
$60,000 – $70,000 per year.
