Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Glenbrook, Nevada is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Supervises and participates in the completion of daily maintenance of the golf course areas including maintaining tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, and landscaping, as well as conducting repairs to irrigation systems and equipment under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent.

Requirements:
Relevant degree, certification in turf management and/or a minimum of three (3) years work experience in golf course maintenance, groundskeeping, and/or landscaping.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and great communication skills with the ability to train team members in all aspects of golf course maintenance.
Desire to make an impact, grow as a turf grass manager, take pride in your work and the work of the team.
Strong knowledge of best agronomic practices for turfgrass, Toro irrigation systems, bunker renovation, and maintenance.
Experience in mixing, handling, and spraying products.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
Frequently exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibrations.
Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
May need to use some protective equipment such as a respirator, gloves, earplugs, eye guards/visors, boots, and hats.
This position may require the working of early morning hours, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:
$28 – $32 per hour.
