2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Orlando, Florida is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting the Superintendent in directing and participating in the maintenance, operation and management of the golf course in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Assist in managing and maintaining the golf course(s) and practice areas to include, but not limited to, Greens, Tees, Fairways, Bunkers and Native Areas.
• Conduct facility inspections and supervise minor construction projects and course additions.
• Daily set up of the golf course including cup cutting.
• Assist when needed in all areas of mowing and course maintenance.
• Monitor nightly irrigation applications, insect and weed populations, and diseases to diagnose problems and to present solutions.
• Irrigation repairs and maintenance of the Toro system including daily hand watering.
• Apply fertilizer/chemical applications when applicable.
• Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance, including, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, providing professional development, and delivering recognition and reward.

Requirements:
High School Diploma preferred.
Previous grounds keeping experience required.

Compensation:
$19 per hour.
