Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Key Largo, Florida is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
Interns with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn will gain vital experience in managing two championship golf courses. This internship program is focused on getting each intern ready to make the transition to a full time assistant position.
Duties:
• Chemical/Fertilizer application and calibration.
• Moisture Management.
• Irrigation troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Warm season turf cultural practices.
Requirements:
Enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year Turf Management related field or Certificate program.
No experience required, but prior golf course experience is a plus.
Compensation:
$16 per hour.
Onsight housing, free golf, free/discounted meals, uniforms, plenty of OT, and getting to live that good island life in the Florida keys.
