1st Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Xenia, Ohio is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position’s responsibility is supporting the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of golf operations. It includes golf management, instruction, guest and member service and event coordination.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Has an unwavering commitment to perform all duties in a remarkable way.
• Assist with daily golf operations including tee time reservations, player check-in, and course setup.
• Ensure the smooth flow of play and enforce course policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
• Assist with teaching golf lessons, clinics, and junior programs under the guidance of the Head Golf Professional.
• Help golfers of all skill levels improve their game by implementing creative teaching methods to engage and motivate them.
• Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of golf tournaments, leagues, and special events.
• Coordinate tournament registration, scoring, and prize distribution.
• Ensure that all events run smoothly and efficiently, providing an exceptional experience for participants.
• Assist with pro shop inventory management, including receiving merchandise, pricing, display, cleanliness, and organization.
• Process retail transactions and provide product recommendations to guests.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and playing techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in golf management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
$45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
