Head Golf Professional
Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Golf Operations Leadership:
• Lead and oversee all golf-related activities, including daily operations, tee sheet management, golf cart fleet maintenance, and practice facility upkeep.
• Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining a welcoming presence, greeting players, and addressing any issues or concerns professionally.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and elevate the guest experience.

Team Leadership & Staff Development:
• Provide mentorship, supervision, and training for the golf operations team, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and exceptional service.
• Oversee hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure staff alignment with club standards and guest expectations.
• Develop a customer-first mindset among staff and establish clear service and performance expectations.

Tournament & Event Management:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all club tournaments, outings, and special golf events.
• Collaborate with the Events Team to ensure seamless execution of golf-related activities.
• Manage tournament logistics, including course setup, scoring, and post-event follow-up.

Player Development & Instruction:
• Design and implement comprehensive player development programs, including private instruction, group clinics, and junior golf initiatives.
• Conduct club fittings, equipment analysis, and repair services to enhance the player experience.

Guest & Member Engagement:
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, increase player engagement, and grow club loyalty programs.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence, actively engaging with members and guests to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Foster relationships with club members, corporate partners, and local golf communities to drive participation in club programs.

Retail & Merchandising Operations:
• Oversee all aspects of the golf shop, including product selection, inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies.
• Ensure an exceptional shopping experience, maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing retail space.
• Utilize sales data and market trends to optimize inventory turnover and profitability.

Assistant General Manager (AGM) Responsibilities:
• Handle daily administrative tasks such as bank deposits and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Oversee F&B operations, ensuring quality service, inventory control, and adherence to budgets.
• Set up POS items and track sales to ensure accurate reporting and optimal financial performance.
• Work closely with management to implement club-wide initiatives and ensure smooth operations across all departments.

Requirements:
PGA Membership or PGA PGM Associate Program Level 1 or higher required.
Minimum of three years of experience in golf operations, instruction, or related roles.
College degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Compensation:
$50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year.
