Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsible for the daily conditioning and maintenance of the Mountain course. Daily monitoring and scheduling of irrigation requirements. Daily scheduling, training, supervision and motivating staff as well as hiring and disciplinary action as needed. Fertility and chemical scheduling and applications.

Requirements:
Ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, lead by example, team player, willing to work along side staff.
Ethical, honest and sincere.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain pesticide license within 6 months.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Strong work ethic and a desire to advance in the industry.
Ideal candidate should have a turf-related degree or a minimum of two years in golf course maintenance in a supervisory position.
Candidate should be familiar with all aspects of golf course management.
Should be familiar with irrigation, pesticide, and fertility programs.
Facility has a new Toro equipment fleet lease package.
Toro irrigation experience helpful.
Experience with overseeding/transition and managing bermudagrass greens a plus.

Compensation:
$60,000 – $75,000 per year.
