Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Burnsville, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional and First Assistant Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf operation including day-to-day operational management, member and guest tournaments/events, merchandising, and club repair. This individual will assist in supervising the golf operations staff to ensure the highest level of service to the members and their guests. Seasonal date is May through October. The position must have the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Duties:
• Greet all members and guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, written and verbal communications, with timely follow-up on tasks.
• Support the head golf professional with planning, staging, and executing tournament events and daily play.
• Execute the daily opening and closing procedures of the golf shop.
• Assist with merchandising.
• Possess knowledge of the USGA Rules of Golf and GHIN handicap system.
• Play golf with members and their guests.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the head golf professional and first assistant golf professional.

Requirements:
PGA Associate or Member preferred.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
