Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Summerfield, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Play a key role in supporting the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the club’s golf operations. This position offers a significant opportunity for career growth through the mastering of skills related to daily operations, tournament management, golf instruction, merchandising, and strategic planning.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Ability to interact positively with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to consistently work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and other personnel.
• Registers golfers and assists with managing tournaments and promotional events.
• Leads player programs for juniors and beginner golfers to grow the game of golf.
• Plays golf with a variety of customers in competitive and non-competitive situations.
• Actively pursues PGA membership in a timely manner through the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGA PGM) program.
• Assists with hiring, disciplining, and terminating golf department employees according to GNGC policies and procedures.
• Oversees the golf operation in the absence of the Head Golf Professional.

Requirements:
Passion for the game of golf.
PGA or LPGA Associate preferred.
Previous experience in a Golf Professional role preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of golf operations, teaching methods, tournament management, and customer service.

Compensation:
$12.00 – $16.00 per hour.
