Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Rye, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Work with the Superintendent and other Assistants to plan and execute daily operations, evaluate current agronomic programs/procedures and strategize long-term projects. The daily role of the Assistant includes disease and insect scouting, participating in daily maintenance, crew management, irrigation scheduling and interdepartmental collaboration.

Requirements:
2-year or 4-year degree in turf management or related field.
1-3 years working on a golf course.
The candidate must possess a great passion for this industry and their career, have the ability to take initiative at all times, be a “team player”, and must bring a positive attitude to work on a daily basis.
The ability to work alongside and interact with the rest of the Management staff, Union employees, and seasonal employees at all times is essential.
The ideal candidate will be working towards becoming a golf course superintendent.

Compensation:
$80,000 – $85,000 per year.
