Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf course in Fredericksburg, Texas is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
This position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to get some hands-on experience with several course enhancement projects throughout the season. Interns will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the golf course including but not limited to small staff management, help in daily planning, spraying, record keeping/recording data and water management. The interns will work closely with the assistant’s, superintendent, mechanic, and a year-round crew of approximately 25. This summer we will be working on several in house project: installing drainage, building new tee boxes, and working on various irrigation projects. All of these will be excellent opportunities to broaden your knowledge.

Requirements:
Must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year Turf Grass Management program at a credited University or working on a certification program.
Golf course maintenance experience is preferred.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Willingness to learn and take their career to the next level.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Positive attitude and team player.

Compensation:
$17 per hour.
