Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Course in Dallas, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
This is not just a laborer position – candidates will take on key assistant responsibilities and be expected to step in when an assistant superintendent is absent. The chosen individual will be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance, including but not limited to the following:
• Chemical and fertilizer calibration, application, and safety.
• Irrigation repair and scheduling using Lynx software.
• Moisture management on bentgrass and bermudagrass playing surfaces.
• Assisting in the management of golf course native areas and practice facilities.
• Managing small projects.
• Performing some routine maintenance (mowing, course set-up, etc.).

Requirements:
Working towards a 2 or 4-year degree in Turf Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
Able to read and understand product labels and government regulations, including knowledge of the proper use of various chemicals and fertilizers.
Possess or obtain a Texas Pesticide applicator’s license within 90 days.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver’s license.
Keep a clean and well-groomed appearance per club standards.
Motivated self-starter who has an eye for detail.
Work in all weather conditions.
Flexible work schedule: work weekends and holidays as needed.
The individual may be asked to come in early and/or stay late.

Compensation:
$25 – $27 per hour.
