Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Porter, Texas is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsible for the planning and implementation of the golf course plan, budget, employee retention, hiring, training, record keeping, cultural practices, communication with ownership and striving each day to make the club better than the day before.

Requirements:
2 – 4-year turfgrass degree required.
Valid Texas pesticide applicators license or ability to obtain it within 120 days.
Minimum 3 years superintendent preferred.
Highly motivated, attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Ability to build a team by recruiting, mentoring, and motivating. This includes greenskeepers, mechanic and assistant superintendent.
Demonstrated experience and capability in development of employees to reach the next level of conditions and experience, communications with team as well as members and guests.
Ability to analyze and solve problems; effectively handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including weekends.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.

Compensation:
$78,000 – $90,000 per year.
