Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Littleton, Colorado is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Oversee and manage the golf operation and work cooperatively with all other departments daily. This position will assist in elevating the professionalism of the property as a whole and improve the overall golf experience for everyday guests. Responsible for leading guest services and golf shop staff to bring success to the property.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf in managing the facility in an efficient, high-quality, service-oriented manner.
2. Manage multiple golf tournaments from start to finish weekly.
3. Oversee all daily operations of the facility including golf operations & golf merchandise concessions.
4. Promote, upsell, and operate the facility to drive revenue.
5. Assist in training, supervising, and motivating the staff to meet facility objectives, especially in providing exceptional customer service.
6. Oversee the reservation system, starting, and monitoring of play.
7. Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls.
8. Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
9. Assist in managing an innovative tournament program that services all customer segments.
10. Assist in the marketing and promotion of new play.
11. Attend weekly golf operation manager meetings.

Requirements:
Class A PGA membership OR Level 1 PGA certification or more and making acceptable progress to completion is required.
A minimum of two years of college, or equivalent experience will be considered.
At least two-years’ experience within the golf industry required.
Previous experience with staff supervision, customer service, computer technology including POS systems, tournament operations, and merchandising will be heavily considered.

Compensation:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
