Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Essential responsibilities:
• Manages the maintenance and improvement of the Midtown golf course and grounds facilities.
• Directs, trains, schedules, supervises, and evaluates grounds maintenance personnel including assistant superintendents, irrigation technicians, pesticide technicians, project specialists, and grounds staff levels 1-3.
• Directly oversees the applications of pesticides and fertilizers.
• Recruits, interviews, and hires assistant superintendents, irrigation and pesticide technicians, project specialists, and grounds maintenance personnel levels 1-3.
• Manages special projects by planning, executing, evaluating, and reporting.
• Prepares and presents the daily assignments for the grounds staff.
• Makes critical decisions on the prioritization of various maintenance activities.
• Oversees the staff’s proper adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintains proficiency in all facets of golf course maintenance tasks including mowing, irrigating, fertilizing, pest management, and course set-up.

Requirements:
BS in Turfgrass Management / Agronomy is preferred but not required.
Candidates should possess enough experience to competently direct the daily management of the course.
Driver’s license & insurability.
Pesticide license.

Compensation:
$90,000 – $105,000 per year.
