Summer Golf Course Intern
Farm in Slocum, Rhode Island is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns will get a full experience of all sides of the sod business including seeding, growing, harvesting, sales, shipping and maintenance. This position requires a self starting individual, who can operate as part of a team with high expectations and efficiencies. The correct candidate will spend time working with each part of our operation, and learn what it takes to be the best.

Intern experience will include:
• Mowing turf.
• Forklift operations.
• Harvesting sod.
• Fertilizer/chemical application.
• Seeding.
• Sales.
• Front office.
• Delivery.

Requirements:
Enrollment in a Turfgrass program with a desire to work in the turfgrass industry.

Compensation:
$20 per hour.
Uniforms.
Local chapter education.
