Golf Pro Shop Attendant
Golf Course in Kearney, Nebraska is looking for a Golf Pro Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Essential Functions:
• Meets and greets guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Communicates clearly and professionally, assisting guests in course play.
• Ensures the pro shop is stocked in a presentable, orderly manner.
• Coordinates and communicates with staff regarding cart availability, food and beverage preparation, and course compliance.
• Assists with general cleaning of the pro shop and clubhouse.
• Performs accurate cash and credit transactions.
• Explains golf products, services, and other information about the golf course to all guests.
• Assists with the setup and execution of tournaments, leagues, and outings.
• Reports guest complaints promptly to the golf course manager.
• Participates in required employee safety trainings, including weather alerts and siren activations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and the public. (Daily)
• Regular timely/punctual attendance. (Daily)
• General knowledge of the game. (Daily)
• Open and close golf shop and clubhouse as scheduled. (Daily)
• Greet and register golf patrons. (Daily)
• Answer phone and book tee times. (Daily)
• Knowledge of prices, policies, procedures, and customer database. (Daily)
• Ability to clearly announce tee times over the PA system. (Daily)
• Assist with grilling for leagues. (as needed)
• Inform customers about the facility (i.e., prices, sales, special events, lessons, etc.). (Daily)
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment. (Daily)
• Stock and sell merchandise, assist with inventory. (Daily)
• Properly account for cash and credit transactions. (Daily)
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner. (Daily)

Requirements:
Prior golf-related experience preferred.
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Ability to communicate effectively orally.
Ability to read and comprehend written material.
Ability to listen to and apply information and instructions.
Ability to remain calm and focused.

Compensation:
$14.50 – $19.00 per hour.
