Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Club in Norwalk, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Be involved in a diverse range of activities in golf course maintenance including staffing, scheduling, and performing daily course preparation, equipment operation, and mowing. Will be involved in the planning of, and application of chemicals, and the keeping of records. Water management including hand-watering, operation and maintenance of the irrigation system, its control system and pump station. Will be involved in the tear down and rebuilding of maintenance equipment in the off-season. The goal is to advance in all aspects of golf course maintenance.

Requirements:
2-year degree or certificate in agronomy/turfgrass management related programs.
At least 2 years working experience.
Strong work ethic and the ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
Chemical knowledge and application experience preferred.
Good managerial and communication skills.
Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license, and must possess or have the ability to acquire a State of Ohio pesticide license within a year of employment.

Compensation:
$44,000 – $48,000 per year.
