Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Sylvania, Ohio is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The right candidate will have ample opportunity to teach individual lessons and group clinics to all levels of players. Assist the Head Golf Professional and other Assistant Professionals in the day-to-day operations, while providing the highest standard of service in all aspects of the golf operation. This candidate must be able to multi-task while promoting the game of golf to our members and guests in a friendly and professional manner. The job responsibilities below include, but are not limited to: Assist with Junior Golf, Men’s and Ladies programs, individual and group lessons. Assist Head Golf Professional with inventory control, processing special orders, pricing, displays, receiving merchandise and POS. Manage the online tee time system on a daily basis. Assist Outside Supervisor with driving range, maintain a clean organized cart staging area while working as a starter. Assist with tournament preparation and operation. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Play golf with members in Pro-Am events as well as non-competitive rounds.

Requirements:
PGM Graduate/PGM Student/Intern PGA Affiliation: Apprentice Level Education. Completion of Level 1 in PGA program preferred.
Successful completion of PAT preferred, experience with Golf Genius software, experience in golf instruction and club fitting.
These are preferred by not mandatory to the right candidate.

Compensation:
$36,000.00 – $46,000.00 per year.
