Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Eden Prairie, Minnesota is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
Golf Operations
• Manage, assess, implement, and track member satisfaction on the golf course with a focus on pace of play.
• Interact with players and guests in a congenial and professional manner.
• Always maintain a pleasant and professional manner with members as well as co-workers.
• Schedule tee times and handle customer inquiries and/or complaints in accordance with operating policies and procedures.
• Assist in implementing applicable club operating, human resources, and safety policies and procedures pertaining to the Golf Shop.
• Ensure procedures are followed to open, close, and secure the Golf Shop and storage areas.
• Monitor the performance of assigned staff including Golf Shop staff, Outside Staff, and Starters to ensure customer service standards and productivity goals are achieved.
• Ensure that the golf shop, storage areas, cart shed, and grounds are maintained per club standards.
• Manager on Duty in absence of Head Golf Professional.

Merchandising
• Maintain clean, presentable, and fully stocked Golf Shop and merchandise displays.
• Assist Merchandiser with physical inventory at month end in accordance with inventory procedures.
• Responsible for purchasing, receiving, displaying, selling, and reporting a particular brand in the Golf Shop.

Tournament Operations
• Take full responsibility for assigned tournament administration, promotion, implementation, set-up, and scoring of events.
• Coordinate with staffing team for Men’s, Women’s, Junior, and Major events.
Instruction, Club Fitting, and Club Repair.
• Promote and schedule lessons with members when time allows.
• Assist with planning and teaching regularly scheduled clinics.
• Maintain continuous education of equipment technology to comfortably provide professional club fittings and simple club repair services.

Requirements:
A high level of service and professionalism with the members is crucial.
Teamwork, respect, and leadership qualities required to succeed in our Golf Shop.
A passion for the game and business of golf.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as within the framework of a tight-knit team.
Prior golf operation experience is preferred but not required.
Credible golf game.
Self-motivated.

Compensation:
$875.00 – $950.00 per week.
