Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Longmeadow, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
This position will assist the Head Golf Professional in overseeing the entire golf operation. This role is designed to facilitate learning the necessary skills and provide a pathway to becoming a successful Head Professional or Director of Golf. This position can be either a 7-month or 9-month position with a negoatiable start and end date. This flexibility will allow for possible Winter-season employment in a warmer climate.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide the highest level of customer service to members and guests and serves as an ambassador for the club.
• Provide assistance in the day-to-day Golf Shop operations.
• Develop and administer the tournament operations program.
• Provide private and group instruction and club fitting.
• Assist with the purchasing, receiving, display and inventory control of merchandise.
• Play golf with members.
• Work with computer applications including Golf Genius, Northstar Club Software (POS, email and website) and GHIN.
• Supervise the club storage operation, car fleet management, and driving range maintenance.
• Assist Caddie Master with managing the caddie program as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and PGA Member preferred or PGA Associate working towards earning their membership.
The ideal candidate should display a love and passion for the game of golf.
Service-oriented with a positive upbeat attitude, attention to detail, excellent communication skills.
Strong computer skills and knowledge using Golf Genius tournament software programs, GHIN, and P.O.S. systems.
Experience with TrackMan and fitting systems are a plus.
Highly motivated, hardworking and a team player.

Compensation:
$45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year.
