Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Arcadia, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Responsible for supporting the daily operations of the golf facility and golf-related areas. This position promotes the golf club and maintains service levels that provide a world-class golfing experience.

Functions/Responsibilities:
• Manage daily operations of the pro shop.
• Maintain golf facilities that are clean, safe and organized.
• Order, stock, price and display golf merchandise for sales to guests.
• Assist with inventory control on an on-going basis.
• Manage closing, opening and security of the facility.
• Daily point of sale responsibilities as well as scheduling tee times.
• Work with other departments when a guest needs to coordinate activities, such as dining and lodging.
• Seize every opportunity to elevate the Arcadia Bluffs experience for a guest.
• Play golf and maintain proficiency in the game.
• Other projects as assigned by management.
• Continue to further education in the golf industry (Section meetings, education seminars, etc.)
• Represent in the highest professional manner outside of the club

Requirements:
Possess an attitude of servant leadership.
Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, customer centric environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Demonstrated ability to work well independently in addition to working well within a team.
Ability to discreetly handle confidential information.
Must be able to build relationships with people and maintain professional demeanor with a variety of personalities.
Proficient in POS software programs.
