Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Cape Coral, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, the position will play a key role in maintaining the golf course’s overall quality and playability. This position requires the applicant to have experience in spray and fertilizer applications.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing daily operations of the golf course, including course set-up, maintenance, and scheduling.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff by golf course standards and safety guidelines.
• Oversee irrigation systems and water management practices to maintain turf health and water efficiency.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance course management and operations.
• Encourage an open communication environment where team members can share ideas and provide feedback on improving operational efficiency and course conditions.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes respect, teamwork, communication, and professional development.

Requirements:
Degree or certificate in agronomy, or working towards a degree in agronomy preferred.
Spray applications experience.
Fertilizer applications experience.
Irrigation experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on a golf course preferred.

Compensation:
$55,000 – $65,000 per year.
