Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Walnut Creek, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Essential Functions:
• Operate motorized equipment including riding mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles in a safe manner.
• Understand all aspects of golf course operations.
• Supervising staff members.
• Perform activities including, changing cups, raking bunkers, trash clean up, amongst other tasks.
• Understanding and commitment to environmental management.

Requirements:
2-4 year degree in turf or related field preferred.
2 years of progressively increasing management responsibility.
Ability to operate all common golf course maintenance equipment.
Understanding of the game of golf.
Ability to obtain a California QAL pesticide license within 120 days of hire.
Water management skills.
Mathematic, budgetary and computer skills.
Good attitude.
Ability to follow oral and written directions.
Ability to clearly communicate with guests, fellow team members, and management.
Self-starter with time management skills.

Compensation:
$33 – $38 per hour.
