Head Golf Coach
Golf Course in Emory, Virginia is looking for a Head Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
The position will perform the responsibilities directed by the Athletic Director, including, but not limited to the planning and implementation of the practices, individual training sessions, travel set-up, etc. This position will expire in May and will serve as a temporary Head coaching position. These responsibilities are performed in an ethical manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• The coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition.
• Will require working with both the Men’s and Women’s Teams.
• Supervise student managers and student-athletes.
• Provide guidance and assistance to student-athletes on a range of personal issues, as required.
• Oversee student-athlete academic success.
• Adhere to all institutional, NCAA, and South Atlantic Conference rules and regulations.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
A minimum of two years of experience as a player or coach at the collegiate level is preferred.
Knowledge concerning NCAA Division II and the South Atlantic Conference preferred.
Must have a current driver’s license and meet the qualifications of an Emory & Henry College Driver.
Working Conditions:
Position requires working weekends and nights;
Work may, on occasion, involve exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
Moderate physical activity.
May require physical effort, including lifting to 25 pounds and some extended periods of standing or walking.
