Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Chatham Township, New Jersey is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Foster effective communication channels among management, staff, and membership to optimize operational efficiency and uphold superior playing conditions.
• Actively contribute insights and strategies for the management and upkeep of the golf course.
• Expertly recognize and address turf health issues and disease outbreaks across the course and its grounds.
• Supervise and engage in daily maintenance tasks including mowing, rolling, course setup, watering, and bunker upkeep.
• Employ hand watering as necessary, utilizing TDR readings to monitor moisture levels effectively.
• Lead and participate in various special projects such as aeration, drainage, tree management, bunker and tee enhancements, and maintenance facility upgrades.
• Provide comprehensive training to personnel on daily maintenance routines and safety protocols.
• Contribute to winter operations including snow removal.
• Attain and sustain a NJ pesticide and Fertilizer license within the specified 90-day timeframe.

Requirements:
Certificates, two-year, or four-year degrees are all deemed acceptable.
Current students and recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
2 years of Golf Course Maintenance experience.

Compensation:
$80,000 per year.
