Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Purchase, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Initial priorities of position:
• Learn the culture, team, practices and daily operations to ensure a smooth transition.
• Work alongside mechanic in the winter learning how to grind and set reels, plus general maintenance of equipment
• Develop administrative skills in record-keeping and inventory
• Develop hand watering skills on greens to produce firm, fast greens without compromising the health of the turf.
• Actively involved in scouting for disease and insects, execution of pesticide and fertilizer calibrations and applications, and the care of spraying equipment upkeep, spray suits, gloves, boots, cleaners, nozzles, etc.

Must learn the game of golf so that you are familiar with the rules and begin to understand how a championship golf course should be set up.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $75,000 per year.
