Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Weston, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Professional in overseeing the management and proper maintenance of the entire golf operation. The position will be responsible for running one of our main areas of tournament operations and will be actively involved with instruction. Areas of focus will include (but are not limited to) customer service, tournament operations, merchandising, sales, individual and group lessons, monitoring play, playing golf with the members, and personnel management. This position will provide experience in all areas of the operation and prepare the individual for a Head Professional position in the future.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and administer the women’s tournament and instructional programming.
• As needed, assist in tournament prep and set up for our men’s, mixed, and junior programs.
• Assist in coordinating charity and corporate outings.
• Maintain good relationships with other departments.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory management of a high volume Golf Shop.
• Supervise golf staff and golf operations daily.
• Teach individual lessons, group lessons & junior clinics.
• Evaluate instructional offerings and create programming to address any deficiencies.
• Proficient with Golf Genius Tournament Software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Active role in member service.
• Maintain professional certifications and continue professional growth.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize time with little to no supervision needed.
• Desire to play with membership as well as in chapter and section events.
• Assist as needed with all areas of the Golf Operations.
• Tournament setup, club repair, club fitting, outings, etc.
• Maintain professional relationships with members and employees.
• Provide mentoring and training to PGM Interns.

Requirements:
PGA Class A member preferred.
Associates working towards membership will be considered.
3+ years experience as an Assistant Professional.
Previous private club experience preferred.
Proficiency with Golf Genius Tournament Software.
Exceptional verbal, written, and communication skills.
Team Player.
Proven track record of increasing responsibility.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledgeable instructor.

Compensation:
$1,000.00 – $1,250.00 per week.
