Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
Our goal is to develop the employee by providing an environment where you can learn and utilize your skills to become an elite Assistant Superintendent. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to learn, network, and advance their career.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the golf course superintendent and assistants with daily planning and scheduling.
• Learn to manage and install Toro irrigation (SitePro & LTC Plus Satellites). Looking to upgrade to Toro LYNX and LTC Pro / VP.
• Assist with pesticide and fertilizer applications.
• Learn how to properly calibrate fertilizer spreaders and sprayers.
• Learn how to establish a sound fertilizer and pesticide program.
• Monitor golf course playing conditions including greens moisture management.
• Assist with golf course set-up, projects, and all other facets of the golf course operation.

Requirements:
Positive attitude, eager to learn, and dedicated to golf industry.
Willing to work as a team in an organized, high-paced environment.
Ability to listen and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
Ability to multi-task while closely monitoring daily operations.
Ability to prioritize and adjust to ever-changing conditions.
Prefer a minimum commitment of 1 year.

Compensation:
$22 per hour.
