Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Palm Desert, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional with numerous activities relating to the management and operation of the club’s golf program.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assists members by providing and interpreting golf policies, rules and regulations.
• Member and guest service.
• Coordinates with Golf Starters to schedule member and guest play.
• Operates Pro Shop in absence of Golf Pro Shop Manager.
• Oversees Pro Shop inventory and periodically conducts physical counts of merchandise. Will work with the Merchandiser to merchandise new product on the floor.
• Maintains and inventories all stock items necessary for in-house club repair work.
• Document and keep accurate records of all in-house and outside club repair work.
• Update all charges and credits for club repair work.
• Will assist in tournament operations.
• Assumes Head Golf Professional’s duties in his or her absence.
• Assists Junior Golf Director with junior clinics.
• Plays golf with members.

Requirements:
PGA Member preferred or PGA Apprentice working to attain PGA Professional status.
Previous private club experience is a plus.

Compensation:
$25.00 per hour.
