Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Atlantic Beach, Florida is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
In this role, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring that our ~65 acres of turf are maintained to the highest standards with a focus on details from edge to edge. This professional will be responsible for implementing agronomy practices, helping to manage an annual budget of $1.86 million, and support building a significant capital expenditure plan to enhance course conditions. As a vital leader at the Club, collaborate with the Director of Agronomy & Grounds to plan and execute course maintenance strategies, including upcoming renovations anticipated around 2029/2030. This professional should have expertise supporting the Club’s commitment to providing an outstanding golfing experience, which hosts approximately 28,000 rounds annually and prestigious events such as the Epson Tour’s Atlantic Beach Classic and Sea Best Collegiate Invitational.

Requirements:
Relevant certifications from recognized organizations, such as the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), are preferred.
A degree from a post-secondary program in turf management, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field are preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership and management experience in a comparable golf course environment.
Strong understanding of turf management practices and principles with warm season grass experience.
Experience planning significant renovations is a valuable asset.

Compensation:
$75,000 – $85,000 per year.
