Golf Shop Attendant
Golf Club in Sparta, New Jersey is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
The position provides excellent customer service to the members and their guests while performing golf shop duties along with some outside operations duties.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Assist members with any needs they may have.
• Opening/Closing procedures.
• Communication with other golf staff about members needs.
• Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests. Focus attention on members and guests needs and remain calm, professional, and courteous at all times
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Answering phones, always maintain pleasant and professional telephone manner.
• Collect money or process credit cards, record sales transactions and issue receipts for all merchandise sales, greens fees, cart/pull cart rental fees and club rental fees.
• Help with range set up and tear down when needed.
• Picking the range at times when needed.
• Cleaning golf carts and getting them ready for play when needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
General golf knowledge preferred, but not required.
This position will work the months of April through October.
Applicants also need to be able to work weekends and some holidays.

Compensation:
$15.13 per hour.
